A taxi service as an exhibition platform for sound art.

We propose to operate a taxi service as an exhibition platform for sound art.

The chauffeurs will be employed as exhibition hosts.

The works presented will be commissioned specifically for the context of the taxi. Works may be activated according to the route, the duration of the journey, and the passengers requiring transport.

The existence of the taxi as a sound art exhibition platform should remain undisclosed. The works should be activated regardless of the preferences or expectations of the passengers. The exhibition should take precedence over the transport service. Refunds should be offered if requested on this basis.

The works presented may include composed music, sound works played through the vehicle’s sound system, scores, instructions, performances, conversations, or other sonic propositions.

The exhibition platform may travel between cities and countries for temporary activation.
