Working Title: Audit of Arrival

The work consists of a concert composed from a recording of the thirty minutes preceding it: the audience’s own arrival into the space.

The recording is produced under conditions of audio-surveillance of the audience, by hiding microphones in the spaces of arrival.

At the designated start time, the recording is played back to the audience.

The performance unfolds as a return to the immediate past, in which the audience encounters its own presence as though overheard, repositioned as both subject and material, and compelled to consider how listening is altered when sound appears detached from intention, agency, or consent.
