A circular walking path as a practice for listening

How is walking around in a kind of a circle a practice for listening?

Is it more or less a practice for listening if you walk for 60 minutes straight?

In what way is the degree of a clear downtrodden path important?

Do one listen better while walking (or is it just a different kind of listening)? While bending and touching plants? While given-up a sense of direction or goal?
